Signing ceremony – Coal-Fired Power Plant Project in Myanmar
On 9th April 2015, TTCL and subsidiaries have entered into Memorandum of Agreement with Department of Hydropower Planning, Ministry of Electric Power, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar for the Development, Operation, and Transfer of Ultra Super Critical (USC) Coal-Fired Thermal Power Plant Project. The construction period is estimated to be around 4 to 6 years starting from 2016 with total investment worth USD 2.8 billion(THB 91,000 million approx.) in Mon State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The project, once completed, will be equipped with Japan’s technology Ultra Super Critical (USC) with total capacity1280MW of electricity for 30-year of concession period.
